Adam Ebert Awarded NIH F31 Grant

Adam Ebert was awarded a highly prestigious Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (F31) award from The National Institute on Aging (NIA) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Adam’s thesis dissertation seeks to address the mechanisms linking sphingolipid metabolism to mitochondria function in aging cells. Adam is working to develop new approaches for imaging and lipidomic analysis of mitochondria. These studies have important implications for how mitochondria change in aging cells.
