Lianna Zhou and Pedro Henrique Ayres Galhardo begin their rotation in the MacGurn Lab. Lianna and Pedro are first year graduate students in Vanderbilt’s Interdisciplinary Graduate Program. Lianna will be investigating the relationship between sphingolipid metabolism and mitochondrial stress. Pedro will examine how amino acid availability affects translational fidelity.
